Discussing TeacherCast with Jeffery Bradbury
Today on the show we are pleased to welcome Jeffrey Bradbury! Jeffrey is the author of Kidblog: An Introduction to Blogging With Your Students. He is an ASCD Emerging Leader, Google Certified Teacher, Google Education Trainer, PBS Learning Media Digital Innovator, Microsoft Innovative Educator, Microsoft Surface Expert, speaker, writer, podcaster, broadcaster, consultant, and educational media specialist. He is currently the Coordinator for Technology Integration for the Westwood Regional School District in New Jersey.
He is probably best known for creating several online places for teachers to help other teachers. Most notably of those, and to use the Disney term "Hub" of Jeffery’s creations, is TeacherCast.net. There you will find a wealth of information on various educational topics. You can also find links to TeacherCast University and an archive of Jeffery’s Educational Podcasts. Howie and Ryan discuss all of these incredible resources that Jeffery has created and we ask him to discuss why he has dedicated his time and effort to these ventures. We ask Jeffery to talk about Podcasting and through this discussion Jeffery shares with us his views on podcasting in the classroom and what all the options there are for whatever your intended purpose is inside your classroom.
